Back on Track

Ah.  That's the first time (I think) I've had to 'kick' any of my children out.  Aren't you relieved, in a good way, that they are finally gone, Finlay?

Oh!  I forgot we actually had three cars.  I've been meaning to sell the old one on the left.  The Sloppy Jalopy is actually Lila's (she somehow got it).

Gemma (#15)?!  Why are you attacking me!  She's a zombie!  She only lives down the street with her uncle James Franco (her father Dave is 'away').

Chatting long distance with Jack.  A few of my children - Rose (#1), Evie (#4), Savannah (#6) and Jack (#17) - along with others such as Dave Franco and Magenta Hue are 'away'.  It happened ages ago.  Somehow they ended up not in this town, if you know what I mean.  They are treated as if they are someone you know from university or overseas.   I can chat long distance with them.  Right now I'm trying to bring them home.  You may remember when I brought Jagger home (see here and here).

Rudy and Finlay slept in the treehouse.  My kids do that a lot, actually.  It's like they can't use their own beds a lot of the time without getting a bed time story - it's annoying when some of them are allocated top bunks!

The Update I Didn't Want to Have to Make

Hi, not Blanche here.  At the moment, it seems like I won't be able to continue the baby challenge. My computer does not like the game - and by game I mean the specific save file for the Blooms. Most of my other saves seem to work fine.  Let me tell you what the problem is.

I have a Mac.  It has great specs, so you'd think that the game would run great, right?  Wrong. There have been issues for Mac users ever since the game was released.  These issues include the Exception Raised Error (to do with Cider) and Error Code 12 (to do with memory).  I encounter both of these problems with the Blooms.  Multiple times I have tried to move Lila and Willow out (there's nine people in the house at the moment, so that might have something to do with the problems) but each and every time I try it I encounter one of these errors.  Sometimes Exception Raised will pop up as soon as the save file loads (which takes forever), sometimes it pops up after a few minutes of playing. I try going straight into Edit Town the second I get on the game (without even taking it off pause) to move them out.  That part works fine usually and I get all excited when I'm reduced back to seven people in the house.  Only when I go to save it, Error Code 12 comes up.  There appears to be no way around it.  These issues only really started to come up frequently when I installed the mods.  I am thinking of uninstalling the mods and seeing how that works out but they've already infiltrated my game and become an integral part of it (mainly Story Progression, for the kids who have already moved out, and WooHooer, not to mention the nine people in the house who I don't know what will happen to if I get rid of the mod that allows this).  If this continues to be an issue... I don't know what I'll do.

Marlowe (I think) brought her nephew Ernie home from school!  My youngest (of 5) grandchild!  He was born after the quads, as were all of my grandchildren, and he's the latest, yet he's a child and his older cousins are still toddlers and babies? Weird! (turns out the ageing had been switched!)

Hug from Nanna!  He inherited my hair!  His mother (Andromeda) and his father (Cerulean) have green and blue hair, respectively, but he inherited mine!  Agh, I feel so proud!  He has his mother's green alien skin.

We had three visiting children that day (all pictured).  In addition to Ernie, we had the Dexter twins (Bradly is Sloane's boyfriend).

Ah, the gem cutter!  I have not used this in such a long time (like maybe ten babies ago?).

We have a massive HDD (yes, HDD it is) TV downstairs and you watch this one?  Kids...

So my garden hasn't been growing properly, so it's time to dig it up.  Imagine if my forbidden fruit plant had never grown - I wouldn't have Bryony!

The twins' new humble abode!  It's the first time these tents have been used.  It has to be right outside the front door as there is no space anywhere else.

Does anyone else's doors of these (from Supernatural) do this?  When you initially place them they're lined up, but I have these all through the house and they're all misaligned.

So I'm not too fond of the pond out the front or, especially the bushes surrounding it.  The idea when I decided to have it put in was for the kids to go fishing in it and for a nice decoration but now I'm not so sure.  Also, there's Willow rushing off to work.

I did put this fountain in instead to see what it would look like but now I think it looks worse!

Lila's not too fond of her outfit.  It's almost the same as Baby 15 Gemma's, and those shoes!

So now she's reverted back to her teen outfit, which is really nice and I think it suits her.

On this fine summer evening, all ten of us (me, Lila, Willow, Isaac, Daisy, Holland, Rudy, Finlay, Marlowe and Ladybug) all went swimming!

I always forget we have this magic mirror in the small bedroom.  I think I got it when I had the triplets (Babies 18-20, Monet, Rory and Effie) because their dad Kenji was a witch (though, surprisingly, none of the kids are).

Speaking of Monet and Effie, here's a photo booth picture of them that's still on the wall from when this room was theirs!  I think I've shown it to you before.  And I think I made the same comment last time: how did Monet get on that angle in the last one?!
